accessibility
we're not perfect yet. here's where we are and where we're headed.
our approach
we want moodlog to work for everyone. we're building toward wcag 2.1 level aa standards, but we're honest that we don't meet all criteria yet.
if something doesn't work for you, tell us. we'll prioritize it.
accessibility features
- · keyboard navigation - all interactive elements can be accessed via keyboard
- · screen reader support - semantic html and aria labels for assistive technologies
- · color contrast - text meets wcag aa contrast ratio requirements
- · responsive design - optimized for different screen sizes and devices
- · focus indicators - clear visual feedback for keyboard navigation
- · text alternatives - meaningful alt text for images and icons
known limitations
things we know aren't great yet:
- some emotion visualization charts may not be fully accessible to screen readers
- certain complex interactions are being optimized for keyboard-only users
- we're working on additional color customization options for colorblind users
we're working on all of these.
